When adopting digital tools, decide what not to do first

Adopt too many systems at once and the team ends up using only the most familiar one. The order matters more than the tool.
Every digital adoption discussion starts with a list of systems people want. The hard part is not choosing which one, but deciding which ones to leave for later.
We start with the repeated task that takes the most time every day. When the first phase is done and people are comfortable, we move on.
It looks slower, but every step holds. Compared with learning three systems at once, the team is far more likely to actually change how it works.
